Welcome to BCN Services.  We honor the iconic BCN name and the reputation of our Ann Arbor founders by delivering high-quality, tightly integrated HR solutions to clients of many industries and business sizes.

Our goal is to provide solutions to help our clients profit  in an increasingly complex, digitally driven and highly competitive world.

1928- The Original “BCN,” Bradley-Chesbrough-Niswonger, Inc. of Ann Arbor, Michigan was established. BCN started as a commercial lines insurance agency, expanding to personal lines, particularly life insurance, group insurance and mutual funds.

1985 – BCN Inc., expands its headquarters to its current Liberty Road location in a 65,000-square-foot business complex.

1992 – BCN Services, Inc. establishes its roots in the BCN family of companies.  In 1994, BCN begins on-site payroll, delivery of benefits and coordinated risk management services from its headquarters. Over the next five years, BCN begins managing client employees in more than 30 states.

2016 – BCN celebrates more than 85 years of servicing clients with our staff of Human Resources Professionals.  Our longest-standing client relationship spans 25 years.  BCN operates in 47 states as a valued HR partner to our clients, ranging from two employees to well over 1,000.

HR Manager

Sue has been in the Human Resources field for over 20 years and has obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resources designation. She manages legal compliance and employee relations matters.

Susan

Susan

Strategic Services Manager

Susan rejoined BCN in 2016 and has more than 25 years Human Resources and Customer Service experience. She also has experience as an HR Manager in the Long Term Care industry. She focuses on aligning BCN HR programs with Client business strategies. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Michigan and is a certified senior professional in Human Resources.

Patrick

Safety & Risk Manager

Patrick joined BCN in 2008 and has extensive experience in the occupational health industry. He has worked as both a manager and consultant. Patrick has a broad background in workers’ compensation claims with special focus on employee return to work programs.

Marcus

Information Systems Manager

Marcus has more than 25 years experience in the Information Systems industry. He joined BCN in 2000 and works to ensure the highest level of effectiveness within our systems to our clients. Marcus holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a major in Computer Science from Western Michigan University.

Lisandra

Lisandra

Partnership Manager

Lisandra joined the BCN team in 2008 as an HR Administrator. Her key areas of HR experience and client guidance include: employee relations, performance management and unemployment claims management. Lisandra’s strength in assisting employees and supervisors is furthered by her bilingual communication skills. Lisandra has also served as a HR Generalist at BCN and is a resource for junior team members as well as clients, supervisors and employees.

HR Business Partner

Frank joined BCN as a Benefit Specialist and was also Partnership Manager before taking on his current role. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has a Michigan group health and life license. Frank serves BCN and his clients with extensive knowledge and experience in the health insurance industry and employment services. He has more than 15 years PEO experience with BCN.

Kari

HRIS/Operations Manager

Kari is responsible for the Payroll and Benefits departments as well as developing operational procedures and heading up all facets or BCN’/s Human Resources Information Systems. Before returning to BCN in 2020, she served as HR director for a multi-location manufacturing firm and previously supervised the BCN HR Customer Care Center. Kari has a master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Human Resources Management, is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a notary public.

Chief Financial Officer

Before arriving at BCN in 2021, Jim spent more than 20 years in the payroll processing service industry starting with Payroll1, Inc. most recently serving as Vice President of Payroll Tax Operations. Jim served in the same role for the national payroll service company, Heartland Payment Systems, Inc., now a business unit of Global Payments, Inc. Jim received his CPA while at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

President/CEO

President and owner of BCN Services since 1994, Andrew has more than 35 years of executive leadership in the financial and business services industries, with nearly 30 years exclusively in the PEO industry. Andy holds multiple licenses with FINRA and the State of Michigan in securities. He holds a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
